Water temperature in the south UK usually ranges between 8-17 °C and the visibility can vary greatly from 20-30cm to 5m. Despite the harsh conditions for which the use of a drysuit is normally encouraged, the UK coast waters host a variegated ecosystem from small sharks  to cuttlefish and seahorses.
